It's a very nice Moke. Billy Bob is sending the low back seat frames up with me so you can change them out.

I agree the pressed steel small seats are great but l believe they only came in the 10 inch wheeled U K Moke

i don not plan on putting in the back seats, l much prefer to put a large fibre glass locking ,fibre glass cargo box in the rear

you just can’t carry much in an open moke, fearing it will get ripped off by some jealous scum bag

It is a Californian export model, 998cc, with side petrol tank filler

I must refer to my back copies of the Mini Moke Experience to read up on this model

Correct, the ugly tombstone seats are coming out as soon as it shows up, going to install the tubular frame OZ seats that were factory for a while, canvas is stretched over the frame and tied off like a marine seat
when you come to think of it, a great idea as mokes seats invariabley get wet from rain

this moke has been off the road in storage since 2002

it was an Estate sale, just going to need a lot of TLC , shampoo and detailing
A special thanks to Dion, Hugh, Malcolm , Shaun and Billy Bob for helping me out along the way

No you are not the only one. They are affectionately called tombstone seats but i am guessing Big Al will change them out for the more popular low back frame and material seats.

It's an OZ Moke. They all either have high seats or flimsy seat frames with material stretched over on it. None are very good from the factory.

Here it is. Of course, top taken off for traveling, but it has a great top with it. I'm sure it's gonna be for sale thigh, as Big Al recycles a lot of Mokes. Funny thing is, I hauled this same Moke for Michael Lewis maybe 15 yrs ago. Back when he actually owned and sold Minis. Now just brokers cars.
