Sorry for the duplicates, don't know why it wouldn't show my reply.

Thanks guys. I'm looking for the skinny rod that emerges from the steering rack boot and connects down to the steering arm. That make sense? Just wondering if someone has a junk rack they could send me those pieces - cut off at boot is fine, rather than figuring out how to get it out where it connects under the boot.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I"ve got a collection of used racks. Maybe a rusty one or two that I'd cut. I need time to find them.

You realize there are two different type racks one the rack ends are rebuildable and can be removed separate from the ball cap that holds it. The newer type the whole assembly unscrews. Not sure how many bad late type I may have. I gather up racks and use what I can to rebuild units. If I threw them away it would be one of the few things I got rid of. I will look but making no offer. Steve (CTR)

Did you mean steering rack 'track rod ends' or did you mean 'tie rods/control arms' (lower arms to front of subframe)?

Hey guys,
I'm doing some steering rack changes, and was going to try something new with the steering rack and the tie rods. Wondering if anyone out there has a junk steering rack they'd be willing to cut off the tie rod arms and mail to me? Of course I'd pay shipping and a little more (if needed).
Thanks
Ben
