I want to get a bike rack, ideally for 2 bikes but I could consider one built for one. I am short so can't do the roof rack option. I'm also not that mechanical or experienced with cars so will be hiring someone to install.
I am trying to figure out what is better for my car and for versatility later on with other attachments- installing a hitch or adding equipment to the car that would enable the left hand tow hole to be used for racks. I'm also willing to forgo versatility if I find just the right combination of add-on plus bike rack that is easy to use for me.
For the tow hole, I'm seeing two options:

Any advice?

There is only so much available for use with the SA3AR option. Many companies offer attachments for the 1-1/4" hitch for all kinds of bikes, storage, skiis, etc.
ps. If you are looking for a bike attachment - consider the 'tray type' bike rack - they are SO EASY to use.....
