Can you post some pictures of why the adaptors "won't work"???

While the seat hinges on my 63 are different from those on my 65, the 65 brackets will bolt straight onto the bolt holes of the 63....

With the 63 you have to unbolt the lower hinge piece from the crossmember to remove the seat from the car because it (the lower bracket) is attached to the seat by a large rivet.  The 66 uses a lower hinge piece that bolts onto the same holes in the crossmember as the 63 but is attached to the seat mount by a (removable) bolt.

So, you may need a (stock later) lower hinge bracket to fit the Corbeau 66 seat track adaptor to an earlier car....

But its pretty hard to guess what your problem might be......

Cheers, Ian

I am trying to put Corbeau Baja SS seats in my 1960 mini. The seat track adapter suggested by corbeau is for 1966 and later. I tried it but it won't work. I have been told no adapters are available for Minis built before 1964. Does anyone have any info.  Thanks
