I was able to remove, recover and reinstall my upper dash pad without removing the windshield. Didn't even think of doing that. Of course I don't have a wooden dash panel in the way - just an open parcel shelf and firewall cards as Sir Alex intended.

That would be great if you have one.  I've taken the windshield out before so that's not the end of the world.

Looking good = Just FYI

I THINK you have to pull the windshield to properly get the upper dash pad in place. (studs from the pad push down into the upper rail ) and with the windshield and gasket in place theres no room...

Others may be able to confirm this im running on 80% experience.. I tried pulling an upper dash pad from my own car and it wouldnt come..  On another car pulled dash pad out after the windshield was out = was easy.

Not the end of the world but be prepared for that order of operations!

I did a lot of work to put back the original dash in my car that the PO had ripped out (I guess he was going for the classic look).  To my surprise I see a big hole at the top which requires a upper dash pad from what I was told.  If anyone has one let me know....
