Al, I have seen date stamps on regular Mini's on ignition switches and rocker switches.
Wasn't the first year for Roo bars and 13's 1970?

Big Al, Where do you get these numbers and dates from? When you quote the total number of Mokes produced in the UK (Total production 14,518 over 5 years) Does that include the CKD units? AFAIK, from 64 -68 the little wheel Mokes were shipped as CKD (Complete Knock Down) units and assembled down there. After that, they started manufacturing the vehicles there. Another question I have, is that you indicated the last UK Moke was built on October 25, 68. Since it was built after like Aug/Sept, would that not indicate that it was built for the 69 model year? Funny thing is, the UK Registrations changed in 67 from Jan - Dec, to Jan - Aug. This was to coincide with the US model year changes where next years cars are sold in the Fall of the previous year. "E" Reg cars being the smallest group of cars licensed since they started the system in 63. Are there any "F" Reg UK Mokes? Just curious.

26,000 Australian Mokes Bill. Some say they started production in 1966 others say 1968 ended production in Australia in 1982.
Total Moke production world wide around 50,000.
