.... and the original poster never got an answer to his questions.
- a 2008 Cooper Mini S r56 with the n14 engine with erratic idle (not "idol" or "tile")
- mass air flow sensor bad/good?
- incorrect turbo vacuum line sizes or connections?
- computer problems?
Note to original poster: to be taken more seriously, don't trust spell checker, get your terminology straight and pay attention to grammar and sentence structure (though we don't deduct marks!). It helps also to lay out your problems/questions in a logical sequence.

I thought this was gonna be a thread about Justin Bieber !
~ 30 minutes in a Mini is more therapeutic than 3 sessions @ the shrink. ~

Too bad your Mini isn't a classic...you could make a blood offering to Lucas Prince of Darkness to lift the evil spirits from the Lucas electrical components. The blood offering is usually done by impaling one's scalp on the bonnet safety catch (a miss-named part if ever there was one).
[Explanation for non-classic owners: classic Minis were made with many electrical components from the Lucas company. When something fails, one is often left in the dark and or the Lucas smoke gets out. The bonnet safety catch is one of the hazards of putting one's head under the bonnet to try and find why something stopped working.]

Your car may have been overtaken by a bad idol, false god, or yes even a ghost. You should have a exorcism performed right away. Very scary! Happy Halloween

Recently I had my thermostat housing start leaking, my alternator went out so while I was texting everything I decided to change my water pump as well. After putting the everything back together started my car and it was driving fine in the idol was bad Put in the computer and it said I had a mass airflow sensor that was bad. Now I change my mass airflow sensor and it still is not running good but when I unplug it my car runs completely fine. I put the original Bosch mass airflow sensor in. So when it's unplugged I can drive no problem. Soon as it goes in tile goes up and down and up and down. One other thing I did change was my turbo vacuum lines. Where could this problems stem from. I live 500 miles from the mini dealership in normally do all my own work and I am quite competent. One other thing with my vehicle I changed my ABS speed sensor in my passenger side and it did not fix the problem I always have the ABS speed sensor light on my car could this all stemmed from a computer glitch? I also have a weird ghost in my car that opens my trunk even when there is no battery in my key eliminating the fact that my trunk opening button could be stuck. I have a 2008 Cooper Mini S r56 with the n14 engine.
