Quarter pop-out windows. Are there holes?

I have converted a few sets and you have to drill the holes. When i fit them i always make sure to put a thin piece of wood under the window so they fit well and clear the body when opening and closing them.

I don't know for certain, but I would bet that they fitted the windows and put the holes in where they were needed on the assembly line. That's how we did that kind of stuff when I was working on auto assembly lines back in the day.

I bought a used set of pop out quarter windows to convert my fixed windows. I'm thinking there are probably factory holes behind the headliner panel. Anybody know for sure? Thanks.
