Ditto on the harmonic balancer. I had one disintegrate at 125k miles. Surprising yours has 160. When mine was replaced, several years ago, my tech said there was a notice from MINI that this was a problem for the 02 to 06 SC cars.

IF IT WEREN'T FOR PHYSICS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT, I'D BE UNSTOPPABLE

I want to do a thorough job that will give the car a good life span, so I really do appreciate any advice you can give me. I have been told already to change the Crank Shaft Sensor O-Ring, Water Pump, Thermostat (Housing and Gasket) while the engine is apart but I'm sure there is more that could be done. Please let me know what you guys recommend, I appreciate it!
Aside from getting the supercharger serviced, you might also check / replace the following:

Front and Rear main seal
Oil pan gasket
Valve cover gasket
Inspect crank pulley / harmonic balance for deteriorating rubber interface - they can fail over time and 'can' damage the belt tensioner when it fails
replace the serpentine belt

There's probably more but that's what comes to mind at the moment...
