thanks for all the input.
Yes, it has been converted when I got the car and it's a '69.
I'll see about getting adjustable components to avoid any possible issues.
thanks as always

It was either changed from wet to dry or it must be a late '69. In November '69 rubber cones were reintroduced on the last of the standard Mk2 Mini's.

Row,
Are you positive of the year/Mk of your car? It wouldn't have left the factory with rubber springs and shocks....so either someone has modified it or it's earlier than 64(?) or later than 69

If the rubber cones are original, simply replacing them may give you the ride height change you seek (and an improved ride!). But it may also give you a ride height that you find too high, which would then best be adjusted down with hi-los. When faced with the same situation on my MK IV, I installed both concurrently and have been able to set and maintain an acceptable ride height for many years.

Which model MK II do you have? Everything EXCEPT sedan/saloon has dry suspension and the normal HI/LO strut will work. All MK II sedan/Cooper etc. left factory as hydrolastic, and if you have a MK II sedan with springs, struts and shocks you need to know if sub frames and/or suspension arms have been changed as just putting "dry" components into "wet" sub frames or with wet arms will have the car sitting low. Hi-Lo units may not have enough range of adjustment to bring up to desired height. Dry springs with wet arms will also make the ride firmer/rougher due to different lever arms length.
Adjustable tie bars, lower arms and rear brackets are same wet or dry and will be determined if needed by specifications of your car at the desired height, If you want to change the specs you need to add appropriate adjustable pieces.

Yep, that's the answer.
".......depending on how high I want the car to sit, you would need to upgrade to adjustable tie rods, camber/castor kits, etc.?..."
Camber and caster will alter as ride height changes. But the standard spec allows a generous range ... So, the real answer is "it depends on how far you move from "standard".
Cheers, Ian

Good day.
So I'm trying to raise the ride height of my MK II. it's currently on 10" wheels with standard length adjustable shocks.
i'm planning on using Hi-Los. my question is, and depending on how high I want the car to sit, would i need to upgrade to adjustable tie rods, camber/castor kits, etc.?
i appreciate the inputs, just making sure i get all my bases covered. it's my first mini
Thanks.
