"only 2.38 miles"? That's a pretty long course by most standards, I would think. 20-30 mph makessense, otherwise old Rowan may have flew out of that La-Z-Boy!

I got asked by Goodwood in the summer of '09 to produce six matching cars specifically for the parade.  Only mine is left, and I had it painted instead of wrapped in '14.

The track is only 2.38 miles long, but we were requested to only do 20-30mph hence the long laptimes.

What is the history of Betty = and her 5 Siblings?    Did 6 buddies get together and just say lets Paint Union jacks ?   or is there a history of a Jack  Painted Fleet?
That goofy bloke is none other than Rowan Atkinson, aka Mr. Bean. He has a part in Mini history now, much like Peter Sellers, The Beatles, etc. I agree, a wee bit too much video was spent on him, while there were many more unique Mini's to observe. I was pleased to see the red, white and blue cars of The italian Job. Anybody know the length of that course? It seemed like a long time to complete one circuit.

Quite literally 15 minutes of fame !

I've not seen this footage before - until Goodwood posted it this afternoon - as I was literally front & centre in FAB 2 with seven actors.

Yup, the reason Betty exists in her distinctive livery.
