Depending on the manifold used and the angle-of-dangle of the float bowl you may be gulping air.

I don’t remember where I was told to get an AAA but might switch the needle. I getting a timing light this week so not sure if it’s set to spec...

AAA is quite rich an AAU might be better but it should not affect low down power.
Is the timing set correct.

Might have to try this. The only flat ground test I can speak of is the little bit of flat drive way I have which is like 25ish feet it accelerated fine until I make the turn to the incline then it starts to bog down and I have to clutch in and roll back down haha

easiest thing to try first is either park the car on the incline and pull the fuel line to the carb. Stick it in a jar and crank the engine. If it's fuel starved, (nothing in the jar) you'll know.  then go gas it up and try to conquer the incline .  Does it run fine with good acceleration on a regular road test?

Just buttoned up my SPI to carb conversion mini. It fires up and runs pretty damn good. I’ve adjusted the carb a bit and it’s idling around 900-1000 rpm and the when I test the mixture pin the revs raise a bit then fall back to normal. I tried to drive the mini up my massively steep drive way and it bogs down half way up. I tried to adjust the carb again but nothing. Any suggestions??

I have a single Hs4 carb with AAA needle. The carb has a cone filter, and catless exhaust but no other performance bits.

Also only had about gallon of gas in it. Could it be starving of fuel on such a steep incline?
