Happy Spring fellow Mini Owners, The Capital Mini Register will be hosting an awesome Spring Drive from the 3rd best rated Cars n Coffee event in the country in Great Falls, VA and will end at Historic Harpers Ferry, WV. All classic Mini's are welcome, even if your not from the area. This is a great event to make a weekend out of. We will be doing a Spring Drive this year on Saturday April 6, 2019 at 9:30am (Rain/Inclimate Weather Date 4/13/19).
We will depart Cars n Coffee at Katies Coffee House (760 Walker Rd., Great Falls, VA) at 9:30am SHARP! Katies Coffee House hosts one of the top 3 best Cars n Coffee events in the nation, rare, unique, high end cars start rolling in at 6am, till 9am. Show up when you want, parking can be tricky, just keep circling the lot till you find a space. Having cash can get you a quick cup of Java and a breakfast sandwich, or pastry, to avoid the longer lines inside. We will depart the lot at 9:30am. (please have a full tank of gas, and bring a 2 way radio if you have them.)
We will then drive through some historic towns in Virginia as we make our way into Historic Harpers Ferry with a few scenic stop for photos of the cars. Along the route we will make a 20 minute stop at a family farm to take some scenic photos of our cars and to let the little ones pet the farm animals (ponies, Elpaca's, turkeys, chickens, etc...) We will park as a group in a reserved location pre negotiated, and walk the streets of Harpers Ferry for a group lunch at the Coach House Grill. After lunch it will be on your own, feel free to hike, shop, stay at an inn, or caravan back home with a few friends. Please monitor the day prior to the event your Facebook and your email for any announcement relating to the rain date or inclimate weather....
