Sometimes, a simple software reload into the BCM (at the dealer) will fix electrical 'weirdness'....

Did the brake lights come on one day and stay on?

Were there any changes made to the car recently?

With the brake lights on, does anything change when you step on the brakes?

Does anything change when you turn on the headlights?

I presume this includes the 3rd brake light?
