Malsal.. all the OZ coopers s.s had the vent window that I have seen.. Matt Read is the one the ask about this in OZ.. later bc

Can't tell from the pictures whether it has a Cooper S motor. Cooper S motor has extra studs on the ends of the head. Post a close up picture of the motor.

Nice, still a bit more tlc to finish it off.  Start with the bling like the correct grille. that looks like a Benelite that was cut . Definitely worth hanging on to and you should order the BMHT certificate to see what
the donor car was.
