So far all my predictions and hopes for the performance of the car have been correct - it was visibly faster through the corners at Goodwood, and was turning competitive times on its shakedown laps.
The real test is coming up in the Spa 6-hrs as the driver lineup is about as good as it gets.  Nick Swift, Endaf Owens and Mark Burnett ought to be able to prove the concept one way or another...
I would say it was well worth it. I have seen the Countryman racing at Silverstone and Goodwood and it is quite an unique sight. Great work!,
cheers,
Abel

Back in the day there were a series of them... I think the owner labelled them "Babybee 1,2 3 etc"

Volvo also had a series of touring car racers.... they reckon the longer roofline made them more aerodynamic ..and the won.

I can't see the extra wheelbase offsetting the extra weight on the race track for a Mini however....

Cheers, Ian

A few issues back on Mini Magazine, there was an interesting article on this car https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_Wd58hnPVc
An unusual vehicle for racing, but it seemed to perform well on track,
cheers,
Abel
