Oily seepage coming from snorkel

There is seepage coming from the snorkel leading into the turbo in my R56. Though I believe this issue is irrelevant to the one I'm inquiring about the snorkel is due to be replaced. You can see I wrapped the front with electrical tape to keep it together while I've been looking for part out Minis to get a replacement. I am just curious where the oily seepage could be coming from. Does anyone have an idea?
