You can try moving the bulb from the good side to the defective side to see if things improve - this will help you eliminate the bulb if that is not the problem...
It would be good to have the last 7-digits of the vin number to see which type of headlights are on your MINI and to see if you have a gen2 or gen3...

Hello all. I am new to this group but I am hoping to get some help. Last night I got into my 2014 Mini Cooper S and got an error on my dash that said “left high beam malfunction” and now my low and high beam light on the left side won’t work. When I turn the car on it will turn on for a second before going out and when I switch between high and low the light will turn on for a second before going out. Does this just mean the bulb is out or is there something more serious wrong? Thanks for the help!
