Can't figure out EVAP CEL issue, help

The DME is the main computer, also referred to as the ECU.

I stupidly thought I could save a few $$ to do the job myself.

Would be nice to know from this group if they were intentionally deleted in the 2010 Clubman S.

P2418 - The fault is recognized when an activation signal is transmitted to the leakage diagnosis pump and a short circuit is present.
Potential problem source(s):
- Defective wiring harness
- DMTL defective (detection module for tank leakage)

- Defective in-tank overpressure valve
- Defect in low-pressure sensor
- Defective DME
Sounds like a potential electrical connection / signal issue.....
