Interesting that he says the floor start button is an add on, AFAIK they were factory and used up until late 1964.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

Jeroen Booij has posted a feature on this Mini Beach Car find on his MAXIMUM MINI blog.
He has a wealth of knowledge about all the various Mini variants, kit cars and unique Mini-based vehicles. (I highly recommend his books too.)

Morris Beach Car Barn Find
Monday, 10 August 2020:

//maximummini.blogspot.com/2020/08/morris-beach-car-barn-find.html

He posted an interesting update later in the day:

UPDATE 14:00 - there is uncertainty about the car's identity. It is 100% a genuine Mini Beach car but despite the Morris badging is probably an Austin, too, just like its siblings.

NOTE: Joeren has posted a lot of other interesting Mini-variant features and photos are on his blog pages:

My NOTE:
There were only a handful of Mini Beach Cars built, with few known survivors. Last year, a one family-owned Austin-badged Beach Mini with incredible provenance sold on Bring a Trailer for $230,000.00 (+ $5,000 Buyer's Premium).

CAUTION - MY USUAL SHAMELESS PLUG FOLLOWS:
We're always looking for classic Minis for for sale, (or candidates for our "Consignment - For Sale by Owners" section of our website).
If you have a Mini that might be available - or you know of any that might be, please contact me offline!

I just stumbled upon this interesting video and was wondering if anybody can shed more light into it. Is it really such a rare car? I know beach Minis are. Does this car belong to anybody on this board? It is an interesting car, none the less,
cheers,
