Thanks, everyone.

I will keep that in mind Kevin.  It is just going to sit for the winter anyway.

I don't remember the last time I posted before this.  Our 2018 Subaru Impreza (daily driver) since memorial day weekend 2018 now has 65,000 miles.  Practically trouble-free miles compared to that POS 2012 Focus the "Ru" replaced.

Matt, If you run into troubles working on the brakes or master cylinder, you could bring the car down to the British Transportation Museum, I'm sure we could get some of the Ohio Mini Owners to help sort it out. KevinJ. Ohio Mini Owners

Thanks for the update, Matt!

Good of you to check in. Curiously good timing as this weekend was the 2020 SCCA Runoffs weekend. Those of us who shared time with your dad at the Runoffs for so many years have been reminiscing and remembering him recently. Stay well and give our best to your mom!

Hello all

It has been a long time, hasn't it?

Me, my wife Michelle, and Son Marshall have been doing ok.  Michelle and I have done our best to keep ourselves and Marshall safe during these uncertain times.  Marshall had the option to go to school 4 days a week, we have opted to keep him with remote learning.  Which added to my stress, but a small price to pay for logical safety.  We added a family member in the form of a dog.  A male Akita from a litter of 11 which Marshall named Milo.  Milo is a handful at almost a year old and around 100lbs.

Well, at any rate, my mother Janet still has the '68 Moke.  It does sit for very long periods, not just for winter.   My cousin Michael has been point man for driving and getting the car back to normal.  As all of you can imagine cars have problems when they sit for too long.  Purchased all 6 wheel cylinders from our host years ago.  My cousin is an awesome person but has spent a lot of time living and working in Portugal.  He found a shop nearby to work on and store the car.   The shop did new tires, tune-up, and the brakes.  Unfortunately, the master cylinder was leaking.  It'll get sorted out eventually.  Brake - brake - brake - GOOSE.

I wish everyone well and safe within these temporary and strange times.
