That's true Al, that's why I appreciate the advise from 'senior' members like you.

PS: nice talking to you the other day. I decided to pass on the car, as wisely suggested.

Sometimes it must be like playing whack-a-mole... or "whack-a-bot".

it has definitively ruined the experience for new members. When I joined, 10 years ago, if I asked a 'stupic' question, more experienced members would take the time to explain things properly. Nowadays, we look at new members with some reluctance as they might be (ad some are) spammers.

UGH, Dan...when will it end?

And what happened with the idea of having several moderators from the folks that have been here a long time>?

I presume the MM employees just don't have time (or don't care!?) what happens to the board.

Like Abel said, it's sure gone downhill...especially over the last 3-4 yrs.

At some point in time, if it just continues, I'll eventually give up ever coming here.....and yes, I buy old mini parts and NEW Mini parts from our
host just to say I contribute.

be well guys.

as others will attest, these people are gradually eroding this forum. I barely see more experienced members posting and I know that many of them just lost interest in the forum because of the spammers. If I have a particular question, I prefer to address it in private to some members that I can now consider friends.
cheers,
Abel

Opened up MM this morning to get a mini fix before work and the top 5 or 6 threads are 100% SPAM, started by spammers.

Last week seemed like the Spammers opened up and posted to, long dead threads many years old.

Week before that they were posting randomly to newer threads.

When will it stop?
