Right.... I realise the diff between the chambers etc. of 202 and 295.....  a post above mentioned a 295 from an MG1100 and a Cooper being different.  I'm guessing it was an error

a 295 is a 295 is a 295. I assume he meant the 202 head which is a stock 1098 application. Slightly better valves, butr rather shrouded. a good base though. a friend of mine machined one and slapped it on a 998 and it's vey zippy.

What is the way to tell a Cooper 295 from an mg1100 295?

Cheers! As they are complete, I'll probably post at $100 and $200 OBO to see what kind of offer I get. I magnafluxed the 295 head years go, not sure about the 202, but what the heck. Worth a try.

Hey gang! Selling off some surplus goodies from my stash. I have an (AFAIK) unmolested 12G295 head, as well as a 202 (1098) head. The 295 lists anywhere from $200 to $600+ on eBay, so I'm curious what value the collective knowledge places on them. I'm not looking to pay for my kid's university, but I want a reasonable value. Thanks for the input. and if you are interested let me know. Open to possible trades, but shipping... you know... Oh.. complete with valves and springs.
