Mini has run fine for a bit but last night out of the blue when I shift into first and let gas out I get a squealing noise for a few seconds, sounds like a belt issue. Today it has progressed to any gear shift on gas pressure/clutch release the squealing starts and gets louder and prolonged
I’m thinking the belt but I’m also reading the alternator as a possibility. 1976 1275 mk3
