Enjoy cutting, welding and grinding a car? Well, you've come to the right place. There's no shortage of that. Welcome to the Mini Madness. Hard to find a 'good' one, if you don't want something that someone has tweaked already. The untouched original survivors aren't really surviving well. Donor cars can be quickly pointless as they tend to be as bad or worse than what you're starting with. Unless what you're starting with is really retched.
But, fear not. The support for this little hotrod is plentiful. Much like Mustangs and VW Beetles. You can go as mild or wild with it as you wish. Lots of parts and suppliers to either do a full restoration or customization.
Happy hunting and transforming

.
Simple recipe for Excitement:  Take 1 Classic Mini. Throw in 1590cc's of engine. Add 5 gears. A dash of 94 octane. A sprinkle of style inside and out. Toss in 1 MadMan and finally heat tires and pavement to taste. Recipe produces 1 Mini VTEC conversion and full satisfaction. Motor on!

If I was seriously looking for something, anything, I'm thinking, I would put my phone number. Maybe an email address. But that's just me.

I have to admit that when I think of thoughts and ideas; I do get what I want. Universe energy.

contact me via my profile.  Click on my name next to my picture and it should come up. I'm on LI and have 8 projects one of which I'm thinking of selling cause I'm aging out. It's a very solid shell with roll up windows all disassembled. Engine is 998 an not sure if it's running. I bought it from a guy who was going to make it a racer and he lost interest.

Good luck on you search, and a good choice. Should not be too hard to find a mini needing a bit of rust repair. Study up on the mini so you know what to look for. Depending on the year, and how true to original you want to be, nearly all parts are available.

Hi Mini Mania Folks

I am looking to get into a Mini Mania project for my future retirement...I would love to buy one all done but I enjoy cutting and welding and grinding....so something to tinker with and get to know would be cool....

I have had older VW's...older Datsun trucks...vintage Chevy trucks...Willys Jeeps...lots of oval track stuff too and even a rat rod...never had an English car before...I have looked at several Morris Minors but I am not sure if they would be a good match or not...I am thinking a Mini might be a better match...

I am in the upstate NY part of the world...

Thanks in advance.
