Vehicles can be a part of the family sometimes. As ridiculous as that may sound to some. They can hold a ton of emotions brought on by family that has owned or used it, memories had in it, etc. Sorry to hear you have to part ways with it. But at least, like you said, the collector car market is strong. And no exception with Mokes, as they have been doing well even in mediocre state. If you haven't seen the action on BAT with them, check them out with the history of previous sales to get an idea of worth (if you don't have a number in mind already). Maybe even consider putting it on there as well. Insane money is changing hands there these days. Some are real head scratchers. At least getting a good return will help the sting of letting it go. Good luck

.
Simple recipe for Excitement:  Take 1 Classic Mini. Throw in 1590cc's of engine. Add 5 gears. A dash of 94 octane. A sprinkle of style inside and out. Toss in 1 MadMan and finally heat tires and pavement to taste. Recipe produces 1 Mini VTEC conversion and full satisfaction. Motor on!

After some consideration by my wife and I, we have decided to part ways with "Barb" the Moke.  My late mother thought that she was saving it for her Grandson, but she saved it for the memories we have with his grandfather.  The memories are priceless and everlasting.  The Moke isn't exactly a safe vehicle and we would like to see the car be used.  Hopefully year-round again as the original owners from Canada while living in "Barb"ados used it.
My late father always said anything is for sale for the right price, and we most certainly are aware of how insane the collector car market is at this time.  I will post more details in this thread as we make the arrangements.
