Thanks for the link, Markiss! I could have sworn that I'd read (~20 years ago) that these were based on the Mini chassis/engine, but I could be wrong. Maybe I should go have a look at it for myself...

This caught my attention, did some quick Googling and I think you found a "Tank Tag" machine. Looks like they are (were) a golf N stuff kind of attraction. Like bumper boats on dry land.

On FB marketplace, and found someone not far from me selling what I seem to recall is a "military vehicle" based on a Mini undercarriage and engine. Can someone confirm?
