Thank you for your reply Ken. I have been contacting individuals privately there. I have decided to buy a few ECUs off ebay and do my own research. Hope you aren't affected by the Rices Fire.

Hello,
I am looking for someone with a 2006 R53 (hardtop) MINI Cooper S with a stock ECU.
Could someone that fits this bill please plug in a ODB2 reader and read the CVN values under Vehicle Information for both CVN1 and CVN2.
The values will be four blocks of two alphanumeric characters: example (not any actual real values) "C2 EF 8A 0A"
I would like to compare them to mine to see if my ECU is stock.
