I'm having FMC3 issues. I had the unit reprogramed 6 months ago without issue. two months ago I had to replace engine due to catostrophic failure. ( thats na Issue for another time). I had a rebuilt engine put in and the frm3 lasted about 2 months. It can not be reprogramed because the MCU is fried. Here is my question. Does a new frm3 need to be reprogramed to my VIN? Would an Engine change effect the FRM? should it have been reprogramed to match the new engine?
Any advice would be helpfull
