Why on earth would they have it there ??. I'll assume (purely a guess) that it will be at or near the airport, as they somewhat regularly host autocross events. Santa Maria itself is relatively large but doesn't have a whole lot to offer. Solvang, Santa ynez, Buellton, Pismo beach, and San Louis Obispo, are all relatively close and a bit more scenic.

I'm told MMW 2023 will be at Santa Maria CA, does anyone know the exact venue?
