Another vote for the POR kit.  I used it on both tanks at least 10 years ago and it has done well.  Adhered to the metal, no loose bits of anything found in the fuel system.

Also had good experience with the POR kit.  Did a nice job.

Ditto to what Martin wrote - I did my later model saloon tank (7.5 Imp. Gal.) with the motorcycle kit. On my tank, the neck had several perforations from the foam rubber donut. I used the gauze that came with the kit to reinforce the neck  No problems since after more than 15 years.

I've done both my Mini Moke petrol tanks with the POR 15 motorcycle fuel tank repair kit.
Both of my tanks had several pin-hole (and bigger) holes in them but this kit was enough to repair two tanks, cost now is about $73 per kit.
I found it straightforward to use, over ten years ago and both tanks are still leak-free.

I'd look for someone who does motorcycle restorations. These guys seem to have a good reputation. They're in LA. GTL Advantage

I have a right hand tank that I need to have cleaned and sealed.  I could probably do it myself but I want a professional job that I can trust.  does anyone know of someone on the west coast that can do that?
