When I saw the car in 2015 it was nearly ready for paint.
Add up the monthly Patreon income and it's no wonder it's taking so long...

Thanks, Martin - I was wondering the other day if they'd dropped the project once they got it running, or at least the videos. 

Fantastic process and result. ve9aa will be all over this. My daily driver, a non-Mini, has horribly dim/dark gauges I can hardly read during the day, even with their "brightness" all the way up. And it isn't my old eyes! A few of those strip LEDs and a voltage limiter like they used might help. Converting the stock Mini instrument illumination to LEDs is another possibility.
