I have no plans on dealing with this guy. Everything about it seems shady. Any person who wants to revin a mini or any car for that matter knows it's illegal. If the guy was really wanting to revin a mini he would not be asking to buy just a title. He'd be on his way to buy my shell and gone just as quick.

If I were you I wouldn't deal, but I'd at lest double your price... you don't want to be stuck with the shell and no tittle. Then when he balks at the price say "no deal" or if he accepts, just ghost him. Whether he's a co, a scammer, or just crooked (he may be trying to revin to sell a non-compliant car), I'd run the other way as he admits to wanting to revin, and telling you makes you an accessory.

Just thought I would share that there is an ad in the wanted section from a user by the name of GodxMini. He is looking for a 67 or erarlier shell with CLEAN TITLE. Says any state in US is okay. He is reportedly in the SF bay area. I contacted him about a 63 mini I have that is currently just the shell (I have everything for it). I'd sell just the shell as it needs some work and I will never get around to it. What I find to be funny is that if someone were actually looking for a shell with CLEAN TITLE and it didn't matter what state it was in I'd think they would jump all over the chance to pick one up an hour from where they reportedly live. But not this guy because he is not looking for a shell. He is looking for just a title. Well actually to quote him " Whats even funnier is that if he were in the market for a title for say an illegaly imported mini you'd think he'd be willing to drive an hour to buy a mini with a clean title. not like I am in NY or anything. Bottom line here and it's why I am posting this, is that whoever this IDIOT is he is obviously not looking for a title or a mini. He is looking for another idiot like himself. Beware.

my reply to his post: Ive got a 63 shell. has and oregon title. located about an hour north of SF in Santa Rosa

Him: "sounds interesting. how much are you looking for it? i am mostly interested in the title, as opposed to the shell."

me: I'd sell the 63 shell as just the shell. If you are planning on scrapping it I'd probably cut out the floor and rear outer quarter panels because I could use them on one of my other minis. So basically you'd be buying the carcass. No subframes etc. I'd let it go for $1000 with title. The title is not in my name but have all the paperwork from the previous owner. I wasn't sure what i was going to do with it so never transferred it into my name.

him: Hi. how much would you sell just the title for? i don't actually need the shell or other stuff.

me: why on earth didn't you post that in your ad? hell I'd much rather just sell the title and keep the shell! Damn man this sounds great to me, like a dream come true! Please read my previous message.
