you’re absolutely right it’s gonna be expensive a bit of a money pit, but it should be fun. My next question is does anybody have any of the measurements they did when cutting the frame and hood for fitting a K series engine

No. Because it all depends on the route you take. Besides the subframe kit for the engine mounting, https://superfastminis.com/store/p_900152/mtk-subframe-kit, you will need wiring, gauges, plumbing, exhaust, cooling. See how all the other stuff adds up quick. So there is no one list that can cover it all for every different way to get there.
