Thanks 1963SV3, I ended up sanding it to bare metal and painting it black, looks like it grew there!

Oz Minis, after 64, had a headlining that covered the cant rail ... ie the painted metal between the headlining and the window openings -including that bit above the windscreen...

Many thanks minibitz, I thought that might be the case. I might put the same vinyl along there as I did on the 'A' pillars to finish it off.

P.S. I've lived in 16 countries and visited more, but never made it to New Zealand, Tasmania was the closest that I got, however, it's def on my bucket list as I've had close business relationships with several companies there. And you drive on the correct side of the road!

That area should be finished and painted body colour. There was no production model produced with any type of covering for top of screen surround although some models did have vinyl covering the A pillars and lower screen surround.

Is there any trim available to cover the metal section that's behind the sun visors? I've looked at our host's site and on line but can't seem to find anything that seems to go along that section. 1969 Austin Mini pickup. Thanks in advance, Martin.
