All Mini Types 1970-1973 In the early 1970s British Leyland started to update Minis on a monthly basis, consequently the next 20 years of Mini production has seen hundreds of different styles of interior trim. It is not possible for us to reproduce all of these, so we have decided to offer our own range of special trim which will actually fit any mini built after 1970. We are calling this range "MONTE CARLO TRIM", the design of which is based on 1960s style used in the original Mk. I Coopers. If you wish to retain the original seats fitted to your car, we are able to offer a replacement seat covering kit in vinyl to the 1960's Cooper design as shown here. Fortunately the basic frame construction of the Mini seat frame ahs only change on three occasions up until 1993. Mid 1970 cars had a fixed non-reclining front seat, then came a reclining reclining seat, followed by a reclining seat but with headrests fitted. Our seat kits are all of the same design, but have a set of front seat foam cushions included so irrespective of your original design, these kits will fit. Please study the chart to determine which type of specification you require.

Saloons 1993 Onwards If your car has been built after 1993 and has the new style Rover high sided seats fitted, we can offer you a replacement vinyl or leather seat kit in the 1960's style, which would of course match the Monte Carlo trim kit you may like to fit as well. For those of you with pre-1993 cars, we are able to offer brand new Rover front seats in our design. We call these NEWTON Sports seats and they come complete with a headrest in either vinyl or leather and are ready to bolt straight into your car. For new Coopers with black Lightning cloth seats, we can offer either replacement seat cover kits or brand new complete seats.
