The HDP is driven by a mechanical connection to the intake camshaft with a maximum fuel delivery pressure of 120 bar (1,740 psi) at full load. Idle is about 50 bar (725 psi). The ECM controls the volume control valve in the HDP.

MINI Factory original M6 x 25  BOLTS for the High Pressure Fuel Pump. These High Pressure Fuel Pump Bolts are located in the engine bay, next to the fuel rail.  MINI specifies new bolts when servicing the high pressure fuel pump. Sold in packages of 3 bolts - 3 required per fuel pump.
