Fits the following  MINI Cooper (non-S) models:

  • 2007-2010 R56 MINI Cooper Hardtop.
    2008-2010 R55 MINI Cooper Clubman.
    2009-2010 R57 MINI Cooper Convertible.

While some brake maintenance is limited to new pads, the best solution is to replace both the Pads and Rotors. MINI Mania  recommends that you replace the Rotors whenever you replace Pads. You can 'turn' the Rotors to save some money, but be aware that turning Rotors will reduce heat dissipation capacity (between the wear on the rotor and turning, you lose significant amounts of metal) and increase chance of 'warping' due to the reduced thickness.

For best performance and longevity, replace the rotors and pads at the same time!
Brake Fluid should be replaced every 2 years to prevent potential damage to the ABS system. Your MINI Cooper uses standard DOT4 Brake Fluid.
