Replace your fan or use this kit as a supplement for extra cooling when you need the hot temperature help. NOTE: this kit is designed to fit in the wheel well and will not fit between the water pump and the radiator.
By replacing the stock fan, this kit will forever end that annoying Mini whine. (It will therefore help reduce passenger whine, too!) With this kit you can remove the noisy Mini fan and replace it with this efficient electric fan. While cruising or during cool weather there is no fan noise at all. You also gain the 1-2 horsepower and fuel it takes to spin the stock fan at 4000 RPM. It is very thin and fits nicely between the radiator and inner fender, or mount it in the wheel well.
This fan kit will do the same for a Sprite , Midget or Morris Minor and be even easier to install! It mounts to the backside of the radiator and draws a small hurricane through it. Question:
Can use this kit for mini clásico 1275 CC engine 1902?
Answer:
Yes, it should fit a 1275 Mini. It mounts in the inner wheel area and pulls the air through the radiator away from the engine - the original pulley driven fan on the water pump is left in place. So, it works in conjunction with the stock fan.

Question:
I bought this fan kit for my classic mini. It does not fit between the radiator. having said that i did get the aluminum radiator which is 1" thicker so that is probably the reason. Went back with the 11 blade fan.
Answer:
This kit was not designed to fit in place of the stock fan but rather attaches to the outside of the fan grille in the wheel well. On very later model Minis it attaches directly to the radiator on the wheel side. There are no electric fan fit that will fit between the water pump and the radiator.
