The Stage 1 Brake Upgrade Kit is designed for the street MINI Cooper and Cooper S that wants a slight improvement in pedal feel and stopping performance with reduced dusting. The EBC Green Stuff performance pads with the Powerslot slotted rotors and the Stainless Steel Brake Lines give you just that.

The stock pads makes it impossible to keep your wheels clean with the copious amounts of brake dust they generate. These pads use improved friction materials that generates little dust. You can wash your wheels once a week instead of every day! More details about EBC Green Pads here.

Power Slot premium replacement rotors are specifically designed to run cooler, promote dramatically improved wet and dry brake performance, and are a safer alternative to drilling crack prone holes through cast iron rotors.

The stainless brake lines reduce hose flex inherent to rubber hoses resulting in a more solid brake feel.

For 2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper and R53 Cooper S Hatchback, and 2005-2008 R52 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Convertibles. Not compatible with JCW Brake Kits.

NMK3216 is for May 2003 production or later
NMK3215 is for production dates through April 2003

Front :
disc to hub (torx) : 27 nm
caliper to steering knuckle : 110 nm
guide bolt (7mm) : 25-30 nm
dust shield : 8 nm

Rear :
disc to hub : 27 nm
caliper to trailing arm : 65 nm
guide bolt : 25-30 nm
