Our next step was to get back to the metalwork. The left front fender had been crumpled and badly repaired. The grille/headlight surround panel had actually been ripped in half and also poorly repaired.

Project Introduction: 1967 Mini Cooper S- Some ten years ago we were made aware of a very rare Mini, a real 1967 1275 Cooper S. It was sitting in a warehouse in south Florida, where it hadn’t been touched for nearly 30 years. Intact, except for the driveline (which had been disassembled and carefully bagged and tagged), this matching numbers 1275 Cooper S was a perfect restoration candidate
