Here is a wiring diagram for a 1300 Export.  It is pretty close to my Mini 1001.

Hoping not to late.... this is an Innocenti Mini T MK2 second series, with engine 8AP remote gear shift, single HS4 carburettor.
The frame type G38/1 is the right one for mini T MK1 and MK2, the MK2were produced between 1968 Sept. and 1970 July and the S/N were between 15001 and 15926.
If you already have this car and you are intersted to sell it pls. send me a message.

Having inadvertently highjacked an old post, I might as well try to wrap this up. I read a lot on minis but when it gets to numbers I've run into, shall we say, discrepancies? So, I really know nothing. Can you help me with this one? G38/1 cuts off well below 159621, yet here it is. Looks genuine. Could it be a mis-stamping…a forgery…. a (gasp, dare I say it) a skillful REVIN? Very skillful. Since this particular example arrived in the U.S. with a 998 cooper silver seal engine sitting on a Cooper S 4 syncro box with Cooper S 7.5 disks, all we have left is this number to fill in details like original engine/trans. It was definitely built with a remote shift. This, of course, isn't really about this car. This car just provides some more data (even if conflicting) to the big picture.

More mysteries. I'm at least fairly sure it's an Inno Mini T. And it runs.

The link is one of many versions of the same listing, all with errors. For instance, if you start looking closely at beginning and ending numbers vs. the total number of cars built, the majority do not match.

An expanded version of the listing in the link shows the chassis number prefix, missing from the link. G38/1 custs off at 154836, and a 159621 car shows in the G38/2 build range.

G38/1 indicates the car was an 848cc engine, but all 848s were not listed as G38/1 cars. For instance G38/2, B38/1, and B38/2 were all 848s.

I tried tracking different versions of the listing in the link you posted to find one that explained where the author got the information. I couldn't come up with an answer.

That don't make no sense. Here is a 1970 Mini T. 159621 seems to be the number(SN) that establishes the year of build. I've heard the G38/1 denotes motor size( on this forum). Help me out with this one. Oh, and how about that wiring diagram. In Italian. Some production numbers in the link…

ed. OK, looks like a 1969(late) build. First registered '70.

Although this is an older post, I'l respond anyway since this is such an unusual mini,  I have a '67 Mk1 Innocenti Mini t that I'm about 50% of the way through restoring.  Body and paint work completed, mechanicals are next.  My car is 100% original and so if you want any pictires of what it is supposed to look like let me know.  I'm alwatys looking for fellow mini-t owners...

Here is my email addres - fully spelled out in the faint hope that it discourages some of the automated spammers :-)

definately not a factory dash...maybe roke, but with a different centre piece.
Steering column shroud isn't stock I don't think and lower dash pad looks like recovered.
Looks nice.

"Temperato" could mean "tempered" (glass)

Dash looks like a recovered ROKEE dash.

It would appear someone walked away with your stereo !

p.s.-it appears someone moved all the switches and heater/choke controls up from the switch panel to the center of the old ROKEE dash. (where the speedo normally lives)

I don't claim to know a thing about the MINI-T's....Mike Gibson might be the North American authority so could say what's original and what's not.  Seems highly modded and a "bitsa" to me. (not a bad thing..90% of Minis are very nice bitsa's, LOL)

Thanks for all the info.  We know the hood emblem is incorrect.  Here is what the dash looks like, which appears very original, but have not seen one like it.  The fog lights are namd Carello along with the headlights & the headlight riims.  The vin is stamped on the right front fender starting with a G38/1 (whatever that means).  Windshield says SI CAR made in italy.  Drivers side window says SCURSIV & back windows says Temperato. It shows 69,000 Kilometers. Does any of this info mean anything to anyone.

Thanks

yes, that's a morris hood emblem, but the small circular side repeaters are Innocenti / Mini T. I had one for a while. Nice car. Italian gauges are easy to put in google translator. olio is oil pressure. Benzina is gas gauge.

here's the website you want:

here are pics of mtgibby's restored mini t

Hi Gary & Lori,

Looks like a Morris Traveler to me... I would check out www.minisport.com.au  they are in austrailia but have a wonderful selection of wiring harness for your mini T... from the looks of it the hood emblem is a morris is that correct? as for the itailan gauges that could be a difficult you might need to learn to speak italian or get a hand book to cross referance.. Nice mini!! Are you planing to restore it? Looks to me the grill was changed I can bet that is not orginal to the car.. what does the vin plate look like? is it mounted on the firewall or above the grill right under the bonnet? Hope this helps?

Aloha, Tim

We just purchased a 1968 Innocenti Mini T & was wondering if anyone had any info on where you would acquire a wiring diagram of this car.  I have tried to attach a picture as you can see it is a little different than all the other Innocenti Mini T's that we have seen.  We have vinyl wrapped around the drivers & passenger windows & it appears this vinyl was wrapped around the windshield, as there is remnants left over.  It appears to be the original vinyl as it is the same color on the inside.  The grille is also different than what we are seeing in the other cars.  Is there anyone that has seen one that looks like this one.  The dash is all wood with several gauges all in italian. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks
Gerry & Lori
