Not normal...
If you aren't seeing any leaks from the engine, check to make sure you don't have oil in the coolant.
Next, you might consider a compression check or leak-down test to check the condition of the piston rings.

A 1/2 quart every 2-3 weeks is excessive. My 2002 MCS rarely used that much in 7500 miles and that was when it had a slight pan gasket leak. After that was serviced (at about 95K miles), it did not use any oil between changes at about every 7500 miles. Car had almost 112K miles when retired by the back end of a pickup.

No. My '04 with 92K miles maybe uses up 1/2 quart between oil changes (about 5,000 miles).

Is it normal for the 05 moni S to burn oil? I cannot find a leak anywhere but it seems that every 2-3 weeks I have to add 1/2 quart to her... I am worried I have some blow by or something and its coming out the exhaust.
