I agree with Billy's intent in lightening the atmosphere around events. We are all big kids no matter how seriously we take ourselves.
For the Bini owners, it was probably the first time they had seen oil that wasn't in a salad bar. That's a pretty cool idea, except I would have concentrated on one or two cars just to seem realistic.

Actually Elpez, it was at the 2003 MME in Magog where Billy poured oil on the pavement under a handful of new MINI's, in an attempt to simulate the true classic Mini experience. This totally pissed off some of the car owners as well as the event organizer, and I believe he was ejected from the event. The incident at Spring Thing that you may be recalling took place in 2002, when he set off a smoke bomb under Pete's cop car during the car show.

That reminds me. I need to buy some degreaser to clean up my mini's little oil leak. Been forgetting until I get home and smell the warm oil that has collected.
