They were made by Purolator and ther are at least two different lengths. That would be measured from mounting face to center of filter threaded tube. The longer of the two won't work on a mini as the filter hits the sub frame front crossmember. I think the part number is TAM2097. But that could be wrong. As I suspected that's the number for the newer one we don't want. Steve (CTR)

How many cars got the far more substantial spin on oil filter assembly? Did Spridgets as well as Austin Americas get it? Did early MK III cars get it? Did other markets get it? For those that don't know this part, instead of the small oil filter housing these take longer bolts (or studs) and use the same gasket as the cartridge type housing, but take a spin on filter.
