I really love it when people do a colour change and leave the under bonnet the original colour....NOT!  What are people thinking when they "restore" cars?  All too many times you see a beautiful car on the outside and when you look under the bonnet you see nothing but crap.  This Moke had a wiring harness that looked like rats had been at it and there was rust all along the bottom.  I've seen better sell for less.  At any rate though, it's a little wheel Moke, and they don't get any better than that.

The little I could find from the pictures in the ad;
Originally Spruce Green (engine bay is still green) the re-spray in white looks very recent.
At the intersection of the right side pontoon and floor there's a very large bead of seam sealer. Also, inside the storage cubbies, it looks like it's been patched with some sheet metal and goober welds.
The intersection of the toe board and floor also has a huge bead of seam sealer.
I advised a guy local to me to inspect before bidding. He passed on the auction.

Best of luck to whoever purchased it.

Funny how things run. When I bought my Moke project I had plenty work and things were coming along well. I'm not sure of cause but things had fallen off the last couple of months. Once again I have plenty work and look forward to odering sheet metal. Last week I was looking for a shop with a water jet to do some small work for me, turns out they are a precision sheet metal shop doing mostly NASA work. When I pick my job up I plan to ask for a look around. If they can put a tunnel in a flat floor I may ask for one. Steve (CTR)
