You could do what I do at 66...and use my age as an excuse...??

If it's not Scottish....it's crap! (Cry of the Mini Tartan Owners' Clan)

Very good Todd... at least we have an excuse!  Usually when the cancel feature doesn't work in the "right range", it is because the steering wheel is indexed wrong!  (or the inner column at the rack can be off even if the steering wheel is right...)

On the early models with the little square head screw and jam-nut in the column itself, you may have to adjust the 'length' to trip the spring properly, or actually change the turn signal switch itself, which is still available.  "Fabbing something" is always a good fall-back!

Alex if you read the part description it states Actuator for indicator switch. so from 1970 and beyond they used the collar or the block... I amy just have to fab something.

A Mk1 style indicator is cancelled with a bolt in the column. A later indicator is cancelled by a dowel in the back of the wheel.

Part 19 on the drawing looks more like the top bush to me.

I somehow broke my Cancel cam while reassembling my steering column... Does anyone have one in their spares as they are obsolete everywhere....

21H208 is the part number.
