Well, if my motor wasn't done, I'd consider a big, hot one for the moke, but save that for yours!

It was a 9 hour round trip to visit my friend and former customer. He was installing a fresh power unit when his problems started. It would take a day or so to complete the install and to check eveything out. There are NOS and new parts as well as three sets of wheels a couple of sets of brakes, while I did not see them I understand he has two spare power units complete one Fortech and one built by someone else. Due to moving to a smaller place I was not able to see everything. I don't have pictures or prices for the parts yet. If anyone has serious interest contact me via email (in my profile) and we can talk. Even if I have to make a return trip with truck and trailer collect everything, bring them back inventory take pictures and price. I'm going to try and help them get as much as we can. If anyone is interested in the whole package contact me. I don't plan to profit from this and will provide what ever help I can. I'm thinking put it all on E bay and let that sort it out. Thanks Steve (CTR)

I assume you are taking it out for cheesebugers and will have them back before bed time. Those are my friends I like having them around. I do have a set currently on a vintage race car set up for Fortech vintage race unit. Everyting from manifolds, heat shield linkage carbs jetted for race engine very high end. air horns and filter assembly. $1000. I know you were being cute and that's fine. I should not be selling here. This person has bought a lot of really nice stuff. He has spread the money around buying from both west coast and UK. Now he can't use any of this stuff. Should he or should I say his wife have to take .30 cent on a dollar with everything else? I'm open to reasonable offers but should go off board. Thanks Steve (CTR)

Steve,

I might also be interested when you're able to post up a list of your goodies with prices.

And pictures!  I recall a forum pic of WeberPalooza on your shop floor.  That was you, right?

I'll take the split weber setup for $300

I don't require new, but I would like to know what is available, and of course, how much... Is the Swift set a dog engagement?

Cheers, Sean

Do you want a NOS JKD involute or a Swift US rolling start? If you just need gears they are cheap enough for a SC/CR. I will be visiting the car today and have more info tonight or tomorrow. Steve (CTR)

I've be interested in a SC/CR 4 sync box (really only need the gears) if you had one. Resources pending of course.

Hi Steve, glad to hear your health is ok.

I would be interested in the dogbox gearset  if it becomes available.

Cheers, Sean

Have not made up my mind yet but I'm thinking of selling of a 20 plus year collection of vintage race bits. Legal and ready to race 67 Cooper S racer and log books since new. Not raced due to health issues for a couple of years but kept race ready in case. High end effort with spare power units, wheels tires, suspension and brake parts. New spare gear sets dog box type. One SC/CR synchro type. Maybe to much for one buyer, consider parting out. Steve (CTR)
