Another early accessory. A dab of gasket shellac in the hole works everytime! Enjoy.       Mini Estate

Looks like someone did a buy-it-now since it is showing as sold. Hopefully it ends up being used on a car and not stored forever in another garage.

Awesome find! I think the original Mokes had a manual wiper option, by pulling or pushing the wiper gear out of place so that the wiper arm could move freely without the motor engaged, (sort of a manual intermittent setup)                                  Mini Estate

I find it pretty ironic that they came up with a window crank that mounts to the door to operate a rear wiper on a sliding window vintage Mini. Cool accessory though never seen one before, it may do big money and end up in Japan.

Ha ha... What a crackup. I removed the wiper assembly on my R53 over a year ago. Funny to see this. How great!

The seller is a well respected Mini Garage with long standing Heritage (see what I did there?) located in Costa Mesa, Ca. so they know their Mini's. I expect the listing is highlighting this high tech item can be installed on 1959 and newer Mini's?

Pretty amazing!  I think the reserve is pretty high.  Still has to make me laugh a bit.  Did not see a warning like texting.. "Do not drive, shift, and operate hand crank for rear wipers at the same time".

Still like Todd's rear 'defroster' better, same as you see in photos of the Monte Carlo Works cars...period correct for sure.

This is similar, also found it on eBay in equally ancient packaging.  A Clearview stick-on defroster thingie...It kinda works, sorta.

Hey Guys, just browsing the ebay and came across this cool looking MK1 accessory. Although I guess it would work with any year car.

Looks like a hand crank rear window wiper arm that also has a wiper for the interior.

Check it out.
