1) MiniMania is not a democracy, it's owned by one person and not a group of forumers (some forumers like to behave and think they own it collectively though)

2) In this world some people will not like you, a matured person will understand that and conduct himself accordingly

PS: To OP don't take things personally. Don, or maybe it was Jan, banned me back in the days and I still bought a car from Don a few weeks later in person at his office (I was made to promise to be on my best behaviour on th eofurm though - lol).

A few of you guys feel strongly that it needs it, so there's your opportunity to give back.  Dennis can easily add the customer IP address in with the customer profile, but that's probably a lower priority build item.

I'm a Mania customer in the low five digits because of this forum.  And Jemal's great assistance with everything else.

Wise move insulting the man who owns and runs Mini Mania.

People have been making up fake usernames here for at least the 17 years I've been using the site, but the recent batch have been particularly childish, insulting, trouble stirring and unneccessary.  One of the perpetrators admitted to one of the usernames, and in reality is probably responsible for more, though only Don, Dennis and Jemal will know for sure through IP addresses.  Previous fake accounts were generally used to swat down Bill during his troublesome period, and though memory fades, there was never the inanity of the latest round of problems.

Until Robster/Paul/Whoever-he-is-today learns that his particular style isn't wanted or welcome, and they either toe the line and behave, or get banned again, peace will not return to the message board.
Shutting it down will close two decades of shared knowledge and experience, all on the back of one person who can't play nice and incites others to stupicity.

Once again, I had NOTHING to do with you getting banned. I simply noticed it when your account said it was disabled and I thanked the person in charge for taking that step. Move on and try to make better choices. I wish you luck with the Mini. I'm done with all the irritating drama.

Simple solution ladies and gentlemen and it was taught to us early on in grade school. Some of you are far removed from those days, however I am not so let me remind you. If other kids are taunting you, annoying you, call you names and making fun of you. Ignore them. Eventually they will tire, get bored and/or frustrated and find a new target. Every fire will eventually put itself out.

I used to enjoy coming to the forum and reading the posts, asking questions and answering others as my experience allowed. You all have let this man come in here, bring out the worst in yourselves, and turn the forum into a shell of what it was not to long ago. I no longer like being here. Lucky for me, malsal is right around the corner and a few others are a phone call away.

In closing: Good luck, Tighten up, and more importantly grow up-all of you.

I sent an email to the address you used to "re-enlist".  I strongly suggest you take what I said seriously.  We may very well be in the last few weeks of this forum, and I'm even on the fence about it now.  In the last few days I have had to disable all sorts of copy cat users, including someone who changed my name a bit and signed up an account as me.  This is such a shame, but that sort of childish behavior is going to be the end of this community.  I am sad to think that some of you have so little respect for others that you intentionally try to mislead us by assuming fake identities with an agenda to disrupt.  This forum was created from scratch without all the modern safeguards to regulate the lower forms of humanity, and thus DEPENDS on us all to treat others as we want to be treated.  That is looking like it is simply NOT possible, not compatible with the ugly side of human nature, so a heavy hand is needed to police it. I'm telling you all that we do not have a heavy hand to assign to this task.

But we can pull the plug, just like that!  Please don't make it the only option.

Robster, If you want to have people leave you alone or quit picking on you, or whatever, here's a few things to try:

1. Keep your offensive insults to yourself. It's not hard... just don't post them.
2. Stop playing the victim. Someimes it's your fault. Sometimes it's not. Admit when you're wrong and try not to accuse someone when they aren't wrong. Do you know for a fact that Fishingka reported you or asked for you to be banned? She seems to have already openly said she didn't.
3. Quit lying about... nearly everything.
   • Your usernames, why are there so many on different forums? What is your real name? Is it Luke, Rob, Bob, Tony? Sounds like you're saying it's Tony. Is this true?What's your real name? Many people on here know MY real name. It's not a big deal.
   • You say that the information Jeg posted is true about you being Tony, but you claim to live in Yuma Arizona, right? Well which is it? Did you move or something?
   • What is your email address? Numerous people have tried to contact you of the board (myself included) to keep simple things from being so public. My email is in my profile and anyone can contact me.
4. Not sharing that kind of information makes you seem like you're hiding something intentionally. You may not be, but it appears that way.
5. If you're really so incredibly upset, why would you come back? I'm surprised you haven't been re-banned yet. If you really want to start over and change (I doubt you actually do), you could just sort of lurk on the board for a while as an anonymous user and not log in. Learn, soak in the information, and then in a while join back up and don't be the person that "Robster" was.

Will you take any of this advice? Probably not. But that's your choice. Just understand that if you don't take the advice, you'll likely still be treated the same way and will ultimately end in another ban.

Please, could somebody click on this link and tell me what you see?  It looks like a picture of Tony, not robster - or is it?  That scooter was being sold by Vanessa and Tony, including a telephone number and Texas location.  I found that it's the same image that Luke posted on a scooter forum.  If you were so self-concious about 'your naked body', why is it plastered all over the Internet?  It wasn't I who uploaded those images on the Internet, I only found them.  Edited again:  In fact, you should thank me for exposing your 'Scooter for Sale' ad to more potential buyers.

As I stated before, I've only Googled a bit and connected the dots.  I also posted a picture of myself so that you wouldn't feel so bad.  I absolutely hate that green t-shirt, but there it is.  I don't see how your security has been jeopordised, unless you did a bit of boxing in college.  I'll leave it at that.

Will somebody please help me; I'm being attacked...  Somebody please defend me from Tony/robster/Pacific Luke/Luke/Coolster/azBob/Paulchen et al.  They're all ganging up on me.

As for 'showing interest' in your RC cars, I simply mentioned that they were pretty cool - admit it, credit where credit is due, they are pretty cool; I think I wasted an entire sentence on them in the 'I'm New' azBob thread, and it was you (aka robster) who said that they were azBob's cars and that 44-year old Bob was a 3 x 1:5 scale champion.  But, even though I think Bob's RC cars are nifty, we're not likely to be picking out curtains any time soon. 

The nuts and bolts of the azBob thread and subsequent sniping back and forth between robster and azBob 'personas' is simple:  If you were trying to 'reform', this was just a synthetic and shallow ploy to fool the audience that you weren't 'you'.  I think I asked if one were to take a digital picture of Sybil, would one get multiple images?

Try to understand the spirit in which this saga evolved.  Read all that was posted with an open mind and maybe someday we'll laugh about it.  Lord knows, I haven't enjoyed it.

Edit:  Now that I think of it, I even mentioned on another thread that Tony never E-mailed to me, but others did as the pieces came together.
